I am 5ft 5in and weigh 140lbs. I usually choose the medium size but after reading other reviews I bought 3 packs of the large size. They fit perfectly, I'm obsessed with this underwear. It's comfortable and looks better than my regular underwear. I hate pads but with my endometriosis it has become too painful to use tampons or my cup. This is the perfect replacement. My blood flow can be quite strong for about 2 days, then medium for another 4-5. I have 3 shorts and 3 bikinis, a weekday load of underwear is enough to get me through the week. quite easy; rinse or soak immediately after use, then toss in the washing machine with everything else. Just be sure to air dry; never put in the dryer. I just put them on top of the dryer when I put the rest of my clothes in. I advise you to follow other reviews and order a size larger than you expect. Also, I personally usually wear bikini underwear for Ellie, but I do. I'm very sorry I didn't buy 6 of these shorts, not half/half. They're just more comfortable and give a little more security when used at night.
