I bought this duvet cover because the linens I was wearing were too warm for the midwest summer that is now upon us. The colors are exactly what I wanted. The yellow is bright but not bright (in the neon sense). This is a bedspread, not a blanket, so keep that in mind when choosing the thickness. This with a sheet is ideal for nights out. It has two chevron sizes on it but note that the pillow pads have a pattern of the 'larger' of the two widths and this is the side that needs to face out if you want the bedspread width and the Pads should fit. I bought a QUEEN for my queen bed based on the reviews and it was a smart choice. I didn't realize the pillowcases would be larger than a standard imitation pillow (since I don't have a king bed and didn't realize the pillowcases would be larger than a standard imitation). Aside from that, I just popped my standard pads into these pads with their current pads and they look really nice (with a bit more room). The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the amount of extra thread. around the bedspread. I just cut it off but it was a lot of it. I was a little nervous about cutting the seams but haven't seen any issues with this so far. All in all it was worth the price!
