Really good for data storage

512GB is like a mini external hard drive, lots of storage space. I like the fact that I can connect it to my Android phone via USB Type-C. Then transfer everything to MAC OS and don't worry about compatibility issues. To top it off, it looks really good. It's USB only, they didn't have to give it a premium look, but they did.

Zero Stars for Android OS

Does NOT work on Samsung Note at all. I bought it to upload photos from all our phones during our trip to Hawaii and also to save space on my phone and it doesn't work on our Android phones at all.

Doesn't look like a real disc

Trying to reformat it for better compatibility with my computer. Took forever and then failed. Returning.EDIT: Returned for exchange. Still does not work. Clearly a system error.

Terrible transfer speed: ≈30GB File transfer takes >2 hours

This thing doesn't support USB 3.0 speeds. As the name suggests, it took >2 hours to transfer around 30GB of data to the hard drive. I've had my fingers crossed looking for a cheap 512GB flash drive, but it comes straight to Revain and I'll spend another $20-$30 to get a decent flash drive. Of course, you can store half a gig of material on this disk, but if you have to wait 1.5 days for it to get there.

There's a reason it's listed so cheap. Not worth the discount price. The transfer speed is so pathetic that the disc is completely unusable. I can't even verify the capacity is real as it will take months to fill the advertised 512GB capacity. I wouldn't be surprised if it's firmware.

Do not buy defective

Connected to the computer for the third time. It did not work. The computer didn't even know he was there. I've tried multiple USB ports and multiple devices. I thought 2 sizes of USB and USBC would be handy but it's not worth it. I would send it back but I'm worried that somehow they will get my files and steal my information/ID if I send it back. Next time I'll buy a proven brand!
