My smart charger rated this 300mAh instead of the 400 listed. Otherwise they are perfect for bottles with solar charging cords. After about 6 hours of charging, it will last 5 to 8 hours on a combination of sunny and indirect sun (filtered by the trees) and overcast days. Batteries that come with flashlights are not charged by solar panels and smart chargers (high impedance specified). Also, these batteries had a protruding tab on the + that ensured a snug fit.

I've bought about 20 solar balls that change color over the last 5 years. I noticed that some of them no longer work. According to my husband, the batteries are dead. I bought these batteries hoping they would solve the problem. Replacing the batteries was an easy fix and solved my lighting issues. Dealing with the low cost of replacement batteries was even more pleasant. I will be buying more of these batteries to keep my beautiful LED lights bright all year round.
