Distressed Blue Picture Frame 8x10 - Matted to 5x7, EcoHome Frames Review

I loved these frames because I had some photos of my kids at the beach. The frames are of good quality and look good but they are not as pictured. The silver/whitish/greyish color is very light and blends in with the blue more than I thought. I thought they would look more like a two tone frame, in fact they just look like a light blue denim frame.

I love the look of this frame. However, I hate metal tabs that have to be lifted and then closed again to frame the photo. When trying to raise and lower it again, I managed to break the glass insert. Luckily I had an old frame that I could steal the glass from and still use. The protrusions that twist into the frame and hold the photo and glass in place are a much better design. I didn't even know these cheap metal levers were still in use.

I originally bought four of these frames in 2018 and loved them. I needed to complete my collection and wanted the same frame to match the previous four. The new frame is much smaller than the other four. Not sure why the frame is smaller but it definitely doesn't match the others. The color is almost the same. My other complaint is whoever installed the sawtooth hook on the back installed it just above the metal clasp to open the frame. I had to pry off the hook to even hang it on a nail. In…
