Fast delivery at Engine Tools

Haven't used it but my other tools from this company have worked great so far and I'm happy with them so I'm sure this tool will work as well other tools I bought from them.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not the best

Good product for compression gauge

Okay I haven't had another compression tester to compare but when you do a compression test you are basically looking to see if the ratio is the same on all 4 cylinders and runs fine .

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Some errors

ideal for tools and equipment

1. Works as described. Unscrew and screw in the spark plug.2. The 14mm adapter is threaded so it fits 18mm. Just unscrew 18 to use 14mm.3. It's very well made and the pressure gauge stays on until you press the shutter button.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Can do damage

Accuracy question

This compression tester gave very low readings. This indicates serious engine problems. An experienced mechanic was able to determine that the engine still had good compression. Do not rely on this tester to accurately determine engine compression.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Not bad

Seems to work well with tools and equipment

I bought this for use with small engines so the adapter that came with it was fine. This seems accurate, based on my "arm size" using the rope to launch and feeling of compression this seems correct. So far there are no complaints about this compression gauge.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unusable features

Works great handy cheap

Needed a longer hose compression tester to access hidden spark plugs, this worked and worked well. Construction. If you need a compression tester a few times a year then this is for you.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

High quality, accurate, versatile and affordable compression gauge.

This great value compression gauge has all the accuracy and features of a much more expensive caliber, including quick release and interchangeable thread sizes. Most importantly, it has a stripper valve on the screw-in spark plug tip to ensure accuracy is not lost. I measured this gauge with my old but good quality gauge on the same chainsaw motor and got the exact same reading (175psi) on both gauges. Interestingly, I only got 105psi when I quickly hooked up either this or my better gauge to a

Pros
  • Fingers crossed

  • Hard to say
