Good seller I only used part of the switch as I only had a problem with the theft sensor in my 2006 Hummer H3, seems to have solved my problem.

Hummer H3 password lock. 10 minute block. Solved

I had an issue where the car won't start and you have to wait 10 minutes before you can start the car (flashing lock icon on dash). This is a common problem with Hummer/GM (google it). I just replaced the plastic part that contains the electronics. 15 minutes of work and the car started. As you can see in the picture, the mark on the old module looks like damage. I suspect this is tricking the system into thinking someone is trying to "hijack" the car and cut off the fuel supply to the car for…

  • Pretty impressive

Used the sensor to fix my starting problem.

I just used the sensor from the cylinder. Remove the sensor, lubricate the wires with dielectric grease to protect them from moisture. Install in the steering column. Just need a new sensor. Next, you need to retrain your truck's security system. I have a 2004 Chevy Colorado. Repeat until the truck starts. 1. Try to start, leave the ignition on until the "lock" icon disappears or stops flashing (about 15 minutes?).2. Turn off the ignition and repeat step 1. Please note that this process takes…

There was an access lock error

UPDATE [December 2020]: I haven't had a single boot error in 6 months since I replaced the passcode module :-) First review: I ordered this for the access lock module attached to it (not sold as a spare). I have a 2012 Colorado that had an access lock error and wouldn't start for 10 minutes. The access blocking module had 2 screws holding it in place and then you had to turn an internal latch inside the case to pull it out. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REPROGRAM THE KEY/COMPUTER just because you changed…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
