I ordered Sz Small for my 5 year old. It's roomy, which is what I expected as she usually wears a size XS. I erred on the plus side to make sure it would fit. I didn't want a tight sweatshirt dress. This is a midweight hoodie that has been lengthened to make it into a dress. It has a front kangaroo pocket that sits right where it would sit on a regular hoodie and a hood at the back. This sweatshirt dress is very unique, very cozy and comfortable. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and she loves to wear it, it really is a beautiful purple periwinkle, one of her favorite colors and of course Minnie Mouse is one of her favorite characters.
