👕 American Apparel Thermal Long Sleeve Tee Review

I ordered this medium size black shirt because it had to be the same as the blue one I bought before American Apparel filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy very small and very small of much worse quality. I have included photos to show where the new (black) shirt is too small on the shoulder edge and overall size. They even differ in the proportion of mixed fabric. I wouldn't recommend 0/10. Update: I can't stress enough how absolutely they suck in terms of material! After washing they really get worse! A few months later in the trash. AVOID! Serious downgrading of original (made) in America thermal underwear for apparel. They switched to cheap, stiff, totally inflexible, inelastic cotton. I really don't mean a stand up stretch as it thickens across your body as you move. unlike the originals that fit snugly to the body, flexing and stretching. The body width/length is good (same?)

This is definitely NOT an American Apparel product. It feels very cheap and is quite different from the original in fabric and fit. Most likely a Chinese fake.

I bought the medium size expecting the same size as the triple mix and I was so wrong. The shoulder width is more appropriate for a very small size, and the armholes are larger, creating an odd effect of extra fabric over the shoulders. Instead my eight year old uses them instead of nightgowns.

Good material but you have to take one size bigger. I'm 6ft 2205, broad shoulders, not in the best shape, size XL looked painted on me. I'm trying XXL, these sizes are not like they used to be, now I have to buy big and long. I'm a medium in Duluth, if that helps.

Came here looking for more, many years after my first purchase of the taupe version. You look the same. Not sure about the washing instructions, I washed and dried them on a constant spin cycle and they were fine.

This shirt has a horrible pattern, the shoulders remain gathered because they are not long enough. It looked so bad I threw it in the trash. I love 50/50 t-shirts but these long sleeve thermals are not worth buying.

This is the most uncomfortable shirt ever. The shoulders are too short, so they pull themselves up. It itches and is a completely uncomfortable fit. I have a few original pieces that I bought mostly from People brands and I love them and wear them all the time. I was looking forward to solid white and solid black. They were both returned. I would like to give zero stars. So much for American clothing! The fact is that they were made in America.
