American Homestead napkins have served me in two ways. I folded the shrimp napkins as table decorations and used them as standard napkins for my guest. The napkins are very durable and can be folded easily. The color of the napkins matched the color concept of my party very well. The cloth-like texture of dinner napkins adds a touch of flair to any gathering. I will be ordering from American Homestead in the future to try different colors.

These napkins are really good. I love the variety of colors and the subtle horizontal stripe pattern makes them look a lot like cloth napkins so they can be used in entertaining. Although they are soft to the touch, they are the most durable paper napkins I have ever used - they really don't fall apart. In fact, I've found that they can be washed and dried and then reused for wiping down countertops and polishers as they don't leave streaks or lint. Being able to reuse them makes them even more

They are (unfortunately) terrible. The texture seems to be made of polyester or resin. There is nothing remotely resembling linen. And they don't have a napkin border, which is typically 1 inch wide for paper napkins or guest towels. They look worse than the cheap ones, they look tasteless. I was shocked and dismayed when I opened the box. I would be beyond embarrassed to use them for entertainment, I would be ashamed, and I'm not a big person, a snobbish entertainer, just someone who wants…
