Description of AMMEX Heavy Industrial Disposable Gloves

All of our products will have an updated look in coming months. You may continue to see previous packaging, or a mix of new and old, as we sell through our inventory. Rest assured that they both contain the same high-quality gloves. GLOVEWORKS HD Industrial Ivory Gloves are constructed from 8-mil heavy-duty latex with textured grip. They measure 9.5 inches from fingertip to cuff. These industrial latex gloves come with textured fingers, fingertips, and palms to provide enhanced grip, even in wet conditions. Powder-free, so they leave no residue. That means they won't damage a perfect finish or adhesive bond. Excellent fit, feel, comfort, and tactile sensitivity. GLOVEWORKS delivers a comprehensive lineup of industrial- and exam-grade gloves in nitrile, vinyl, and latex. Please note that if stored properly, gloves will have a shelf life of approximately 3 to 5 years from manufacture date printed on the packaging.

Handles chemicals well - doesn't tear easily

I really like these gloves - they hold up very well to car paint thinner and other chemicals like furniture polish. I also use them to work on cars etc and they MIGHT break but that's unlikely given their thickness. Mine only broke after they got caught on a piece of metal. Would recommend this to everyone!

Collision / Mechanical Engineering. The best gloves

From ripping through wrecked cars with sharp-edged plastic and metal, to busting brakes with all that rust. Two pairs of these bad guys are sure to keep you going (if you do it all day//out of service): 2 brake jobs, 1 radiator and condenser change, 5 wheel alignments, 4 inner and outer tie rod jobs, and countless oil changes. . .The only problem is that I want the exact same gloves in black or in another color.

Very durable! about cleaning tools

It seems like every time I wear latex gloves when working on something extremely unhealthy I get a huge hole in my glove and said damage all over my skin. To avoid this common occurrence, I decided to try thicker, more durable gloves while maintaining the dexterity of the thinner gloves I'm used to. They offered the best of both worlds! Fits great, thickness and durability are perfect, AND they're cheap! Very happy with this product.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

8ml but feels light.

These are 8ml gloves according to the manufacturer, but they just seem lighter than the previous 8ml gloves I've had. I couldn't believe it until I googled the part number from multiple sources. See photos. The orange gloves even say 8ml on the packaging, but GloveWorks only says heavy duty. The texture on the fingertips is very light and they slip off when they start to get oily, unlike orange ones. I'm not happy with them, but it's hard to find easy gloves these days.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine

Not suitable for automotive work

Price is right but if you are going to use it for automotive work use nitrile material. These latex gloves break very easily when in contact with oil, even though they are 8 mil thick. The smell of latex rubber is also a bit off, although the material didn't irritate my hands like some other latex gloves do. it is higher because of the cost.

  • No insurance

Good for beekeeping!

I have tried these gloves for protection in the beekeeping area and still had good touch and dexterity compared to traditional sheepskin gloves. While I would hesitate to use them for "hot" bees, they worked very well for the average temperament of the three colonies I inspected today. I felt the vibration of a bee that usually precedes a finger bite without piercing the stinger. I'm sure they are unreliable but I managed to catch the queen by the wings to tag her with great care and skill. The
