Really disappointed in this product!

I grew up with Andean products. (My grandfather was a hairdresser) He told me they were the best. This product will not start even after I replace the factory batteries with my own. What has become of this great company? Another tip - please wear leather gloves when attempting to open the packaging. Incredibly thick plastic that will cut your hands to shreds!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Unreliable operation

It does not start after battery installation. After removing, replacing battery and cover it worked but didn't turn off. Turns on and off regularly without touching.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Compatibility

Make a grown man cry.

Bought in October, works great. But one day when my nose hairs started tickling my nose I had to use it again. clicked on it. Nothing. I was confused. This thing couldn't break me! I took out the blade and squeezed the motor and suddenly it started again! O happy day! I immediately put the blade and cap on, turned it on and. once again disappointed. I glued the motor back on, put on the blade and cap and magically it worked again! The day has finally come when I can breathe fresh air again. I…

Handy Dandy - Men's

I had a nose hair trimmer of the same model a long time ago when the spinner just wore out. This new model is a little smaller, but on first use it did what it was supposed to. No stuttering or lag. Us older people seem to have these ugly hairs sticking out of our noses and ears and that's really not what I like to see. If this block lasts as long as my old one, I'll be happy. By the way, I had other trimmers, but the Andis price is spot on.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • No Instructions

Ok if all you need is a nose rub :)

To cut hair you need to manipulate (like thread a needle) each strand of hair into one of the slits. and then hope the blade cuts it. If you run it around the O2 hole long enough and tilt it in all directions, you will eventually (though not always to an acceptable length) cut maybe 50% of the hair. But if you like something like that, your nose will be tickling for a while! I'm sure Revane would have taken it back but didn't want to suffer for this cheap item.

  • Great for me
Cons
  • So-so

This little trimmer really does the job!

I purchased this product after looking in the mirror one day and realizing I have noticeable nose hairs which I think are pretty ugly. Even my friend once said he noticed it too, so I knew I had to do something about it. After doing some research I came across this little trimmer at Revain. After reading good reviews about it, I decided to give it a try. I thought that worked great! I used it for maybe 5 minutes total and now all the little nose hairs are gone which makes my nostrils look a lot

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some issues

If you have anything other than fine nose hair, it won't cut through. Pulls every now and then. Better than nothing I think. Nose hair is disgusting. Overall a rather weak product. The expected lifespan of this product is approximately one year. You can send it in to claim the magical 5 year guarantee. The price you paid for this trimmer is the shipping price, so the warranty is "fake". Shelley from Andis was pretty rude about this. I understand their position - they print a "5 year warranty"…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

The first time he cut my nose.

The first time I used it, it cut the inside of my nose. Maybe I did it wrong. I'll try again but throw it away if it happens again. It took a week for the first cut to heal.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Functionality

Much better than the 'new' Panasonic model

I had an old Panasonic model and loved it and used it for a couple of years before it finally got old. I ordered a replacement which was supposed to be a redesign but it turned out awful. I only used it for a few months before deciding to throw it away and find something else. I can't comment on the validity of this claim, but I've read that this model is based on an original Panasonic design. That aside, in my experience this model performs as well as the old Panasonic and I'm quite happy with

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Modern
