I received a similar product as a gift but it is much softer and more flexible than this one. This does not mean that these are bad qualities. I love scrubbing my body with it and it's great for removing dead skin cells from my back. They should be light on the face and sensitive parts of the parts. I gave away some fabrics.

I cut a pair of long towels into about 10 inch squares, fold them in half and sew the three raw edges, leaving about 3 inches for the pivot hole. After turning so that all raw edges were in a rectangle inside the pocket, I sewed up the opening. The result is the best cleaning towels for dishwashing. They last a long time and dry quickly. Much better than any washcloth I've ever bought. My daughter loves them too, as does my granddaughter's friend who asked me to make them for him too.
