It was a wonderful shoe. It was never recommended to buy shoes and take them on a trip without putting them on first until you have done so. Amazing success. I love it. I'm of the age where high heels can't be worn all day. They were the perfect height.

I first bought them in a retail store in size 8 but the tip is a little narrow, I returned them but they weren't 8.5. Glad I found them on Amazon and cheaper! They fit well. It's a narrower toe, but that makes them stylish without being too pointy and uncomfortable. Great shoes for business attire especially if you are on your feet, walking a lot and need to be comfortable but not in chunky shoes.

I have high arches, wide toes and plantar fasciitis. I needed dressy shoes and took a chance buying these AKs - I really like them. Because the material they're made of is stretchy, as is the elastic, they fit surprisingly well and the heel doesn't slip. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and also very cute and beautiful. However, I made a conscious choice to wear shoes with straps because I have a high arch and will easily step out of any shoe that doesn't have a strap down the middle. The strap here is very soft and flexible, making it comfortable, but it doesn't really keep my foot in the shoe. Unfortunately, I also get out of these shoes and the friction between getting in and out has caused blisters on my feet (and a risk of tripping!)

I have foot problems (Morton's Neuroma) and I wore these shoes to a black tie party and stood and danced a lot and wasn't in pain until the latter part of the night. That's good for me.
