I bought these primarily to level my table saw blade and woodworking table. They seem square enough for anything I'll ever use them for. This is my first set of 123 blocks. I'm deducting two stars because I've always understood that the unthreaded holes in the blocks are for passing a screw through them that can be screwed into another block. Blocks 1-2-3 are a common first cut design. Any aspiring locksmith should be able to craft a pair of these from scrap metal, so any toolmaker should be able to figure this out. My blocks were well packaged and wrapped in paper soaked in light machine oil. I cleaned them and ran them across a block of granite with a dial indicator. All faces are parallel and perpendicular 0.0002-0.0003; maybe even better if I had a cleaner block of granite and a better caliber. All edges are rough but…
