Description of AOSHIKE Polycrystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Charger

❶【Please Attention】This solar panel is very thin and light, so it is very fragile. Please be careful when it is used, handle it lightly and buy it carefully. ❷【Product Parameter】100pcs Polycrystalline Silicon solar panels; Power:0.5V 400mA ;Size : 2"x0.75";Connection way: The blue side connect "-"(negative) , white side connect "+"(positive). In order to ensure enough power, Suggest use solder strip. ❸【Experience the fun of DIY】Build your DIY powered models/solar toys / solar displays/Solar Powered String Lights. Arbitrarily change the output power and voltage through different connect way in series or in parallel, meet your needs! If you use it by DIY ,testing . it is very worth, factory price here. ❹【Widely used and Widely temperature range】Suitable for outdoor activities, emergencies and outdoor work. Power is continuously supplied even on cloudy days. ❺【High Conversion EffIciency】 Constructed of high-efficiency solar arrays, convert up to 21.5-23.5% of solar power into free energy.

Works well, a little weak

They work great but don't last long. Lacquer is necessary for practical use. Use whatever. I've tried clear nail polish, clear nail polish, flex-all spray, sleight of hand. everything worked, the volt didn't hurt.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Above my expectations

Im impressed with their performance I built a few small test cells to play with and am very impressed. O average 0.6 volts per cell with no load and 5.2 s. I'm happy and will buy more. Remember they are fragile

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Fairly good

Some look like they got wet and some with a minor burn.

These cells are delicate but EXTREMELY fragile! The negative and positive solder terminals are not always the same size, some are very small, others have 3 different cell sizes. Some look like they got wet and some have small burn marks. Regardless, they work. I used them for my kids science project to solar charge my phone/tablet. One star deducted for deviation of +/- solder size.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Damaged

Really bad quality but still usable

Just note that these are mostly leftovers from the manufacture of large cells. The areas to be soldered on the positive side are quite small, sometimes as little as 3mm x 3mm, which is fine as they are too thin to really need a solid solder joint. The anode has a large soldering area, but still doesn't run the full width of the board (as in the product image). In general, they are great for hobbies and play. done just as well as in the photo and they have small burn marks.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • old

Recommended purchase for DIY solar panels.

All the above information is correct. Fragile, thin and the performance is about right. If I wanted more power I would buy an array. They are lined up on the sunny side of the mini blinds that need to be powered by a motor. A limitation. Check the cell output voltage before use. The second one I picked up had a 27mV output on the room lights. Others in the stack were in the 140mV range. With 100 pieces, I didn't find it important to knock off the sprocket or ask for a replacement. In fact, I…

Pros
  • Widely used and wide temperature range
Cons
  • Obsolete model

They're perfect if you know what you want

These are not solar panels, they are the 'elements' that make up solar panels and as elements they are thin, very fragile and need to be protected project and to provide the required voltage and current. Mine came to me without a single broken cell and they all produce more than their rating, very good value for money. Don't buy them if you think you will hook up some wires and get your robot working, understand the difference between a cell which is a part and a board which is a functional end

Pros
  • Product Parameters
Cons
  • boring packaging

Panels vary widely in colour, some with burn-in

All of these panels have different shades of blue and some have weird burn-ins. So if aesthetics are as important to your project as they are to mine, you'll have a hard time finding the right panels. I had to buy 200 of these to find fewer than 50 that were similar enough in color to be usable. I used them as dummy solar panels in a broken space satellite model I built for a client. I didn't have to plug them in so I can't confirm how well they work. They are also very thin and fragile and can

Pros
  • High conversion efficiency
Cons
  • Some minor details

Ideal for custom solar panel projects.

. Entire stack of 100 is 1" thick. Each cell is thinner than a postcard, line them up and you'll feel the difference with your finger. It's all about three dominoes stacked on top of each other, the only thing that came to mind considering its small size. They are packed very well. A multitude of vesicles are wrapped around a plastic-wrapped cell bundle. However, dealing with them requires a sure instinct. This is an incredibly thin glass substrate. I expect some of these will break as I test…
