Works very well to protect the standard Horizon HX280. All controls/buttons work well through the case. The clasp is a little wide to fit easily in the front pouch for the Kokatat Outfit Tour PFD radio, but it takes a bit of work. The cover solves the problem of wetting the speaker of the radio and muffling the sound. The volume of the radio is perfectly audible through the housing.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • No power

You just can't be sure that the seal is watertight.

The material is good, as is the workmanship. I can never really tell if my seal is good until it leaks. Next time I will buy stuff sacks that roll up to close. I pack a waterproof walkie-talkie in my bag for work. You get wet almost every day.

Pros
  • Suitcase
Cons
  • Minor defects

Fits Uniden Bearcat BC125AT Scanner

Small Aquapac case easily fits Uniden Bearcat BC125AT Scanner. Connected to the radio is a Yaesu SRA-18A BNC VHF aircraft antenna, which performs much better for the terrestrial band than the factory antenna on the left. So far no problems kayaking when the hull has been heavily splashed with salt water.

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models
