Great for my generator room roof which is fully tiled, I can barely lift it with both hands it's so heavy but with these two shock absorbers I can now open it with a few fingers via the auxiliary lifts. highly recommended

I bought these for my camper van, the queen bed is liftable and there is storage underneath but the mattress, board and bedding make it so heavy. So we installed them and now we can lift them with one hand. They are so easy to install.

I am using two 22.5lb units and it was the right power level for my application. These racks seem to be built to last, but at this price point they'll be replaced in a few years and I still won't be disappointed. Stances weaken over time. I added the security of self-locking nuts to the rack mounting points. This is not the unit's fault, but in the future they may be replaced by longer range units.

I bought these lift springs for my homemade teardrop trailer. The front door opens vertically, providing shelter from the rain, but powerful gas springs were required to open the heavy door in this way. Not only were these standoffs perfect for raising my wooden door vertically, they came with strong brackets so I could experiment with different mounting angles. Then the weight of the object you are lifting and the length of the spring that needs to be in order to function successfully as intended. I started with 15" springs and found them too flimsy. I can't fault the product for this as the seller makes it very clear how difficult it is to figure out how much power you need for your unique project.
