Arctix has thought of everything

All I can say is a coat! This coat is for real kids in really cold weather. It's pretty heavy - more of an anti-buffer in that regard. It features a durable, water-resistant outer shell with a quilted lining. It zips up and then snaps shut to keep air out of the front of the coat. Elastic cuffs coming out of the outer sleeves keep your hands warm. There are 2 sets of pockets on the front: the top one with side zip access and the bottom one with top snap access. It looks like Arctix has thought…

Pros
  • Interior pockets provide ample storage for small items such as gloves, hats and snacks.
Cons
  • The hood does not come off, making it difficult to pack into a backpack.

Even my son has to survive.

Great jacket, my son loves it. The outer material is very durable, like a nylon bag or backpack. Although the coat is heavy, it is not bulky so my son has no problem moving around in it. It freezes easily, so its weight was perfect for the windy 35-40 Fahrenheit evenings we experienced. The fit is true to size; My 9 year old son usually wears US boys 10-12 (or medium) in Old Navy and H&M colors and the medium size of this coat fits him perfectly with enough room for layering. He loves the…

Pros
  • Made from 100% Polyester which is strong and durable.
Cons
  • The sleeves are too long and chunky, making it difficult for children to move their arms properly.

Roasted warm and great to play with

This is a good quality jacket that is well made and will likely wear several children over several winters. I love the reflective stripes and the quilting on the inside. It is easy to move and play in it. Ideal for weather that is not only cold, but also wet, windy and snowy. The only thing I would like to point out is that this is more of a parka length. If you have a child who is very small for their size, this may be a bit more restrictive. Overall, I think it's great value for money and can

Pros
  • The insulation uses ThermalockTM technology to keep kids warm even in harsh winter conditions.
Cons
  • The jacket smells strongly of chemicals

very heavy load on my rating.

I bought this for my 11 year old son and he wanted to give him a thick warm jacket without having to buy one of those down jackets or ones where the outer material feels cheap and flimsy. The material on the outside of this jacket is thick and durable. Very hard work. My husband was also impressed by the quality. The jacket itself fits my son well and he said it was a bit heavy but he compared it to a cheap coat he had last year. This is definitely a quality coat that will keep him warm. The…

Pros
  • This jacket exceeded all expectations. Better quality than any other jacket I have bought so far.
Cons
  • The materials used for the jacket are not skin-friendly.

Absolutely great Revain purchase.

Buying this winter coat is not difficult. It's dense and heavy. It has adjustable buttons on the sleeves, so you can buy it a little larger and get an extra year of use. It is very warm and water repellent. It's not cheap at $65 or so, but it's built to last. You can buy this for your little one and pass it on for years to come, or give it as a gift and know someone who needs it will get a great coat. Highly recommend this winter jacket. My 9 year old loves it and I know someone else will love…

Pros
  • High-quality zippers and buttons do not break.
Cons
  • The jacket does not provide adequate protection against snow and ice.

Difficult of course

I bought this for my 7 year old because he is tall, broad and husky. The sleeves are quite long compared to what is expected, making it difficult for him to put on and take off without assistance. His teacher is certainly not a fan. The finger holes are a bit small. My son has wide arms like his father and has to put his hands through the armholes. I may have to trim them to leave enough room for him. Overall it was a good buy and it's really warm - it's just difficult to fit.

Pros
  • I bought this for my 13 year old tall but skinny son but it fits snugly in his arms.
Cons
  • Poorly designed zipper that doesn't work properly

Pretty cute jacket I think.

It's getting colder outside and before we know it, winter is here. My son needed a new jacket and this was a great option. To be honest I was looking for something that would keep him warm but also be great for those special rides in the snow. I like that this jacket is not very thick. Comfortable to wear; not so bulky and keeps him warm. As an added bonus, I also noticed that there are reflective strips on the back and one on each side of the front. This makes me feel even more comfortable…

Pros
  • Comes with adjustable cuffs that provide a snug fit and keep cold air out.
Cons
  • The arms are too wide, causing a draft in the jacket.

Look for misaligned keys

It would have been a good jacket if the buttons weren't spaced correctly. The problem is that when closing, the zipper gets stuck trying to work around the misaligned button. I could wiggle it to get the zip around the button to fully close the jacket, but let's be honest my 10 year old isn't going to play around with a zip for long that doesn't slide up and down easily. to him. So, in order not to be the parent whose child runs out of school in sub-zero temperatures with his jacket wide open…

Pros
  • Reflective details improve night-time visibility and keep kids safer outdoors.
Cons
  • The jacket is not machine washable, making it difficult to care for.

Great jacket for boys

Got this for my son and it's a really great little jacket. The material is very durable and water-repellent. We've had a lot of snow this year, which meant several long days of sledding and playing, and it's stayed warm and dry the whole time. The price of the jacket is very good considering how stylish and durable it is and I imagine it will last long after my son has outgrown it and passed it on to one of his cousins. A welcome addition to his winter outfit!

Pros
  • Needed a warm coat to play in the snow and ride side by side. Never caught a cold.
Cons
  • Poor quality of the stitching around the jacket.

Slim fit in my eyes

My son just turned 13 and is 10/12 (medium). This is a fitted coat that may or may not fit you. He's a slender kid and the coat suits him. He is 5 feet tall and 86 pounds. He always has to wear tight trousers, and this coat is very tight. I like his looks but I understand that he is thinner than most kids his age. To be honest when I got it I wasn't sure it would even fit him. It's a dense material, a layer, and it appears to be quite water-resistant. Please note that it is impossible to stand…

Pros
  • Quality insulation keeps babies warm without adding bulk or weight.
Cons
  • Sizes are small making it difficult to order the right size.

Super thick and warm jacket

Oh my god this jacket is amazing! It is very thick and has a very thick shell that repels water. The hood won't come off, but that's ok. My son from 7.5 to 75 pounds can wear this jacket. It's a bit big but it will last a few years which is great - it's tough on clothes. This jacket is perfect for winter walks as it is very thick and heavy. Great jacket!

Pros
  • The inner pockets can be used to securely store headphones, phones and other devices.
Cons
  • The fur lining around the hood comes off easily and gets caught in the zipper.

Great jacket: my review

I love everything about this jacket. Pay attention to the size, usually the average for kids is 8-10, but this brand is 10/12. I bought these for my 7 year old and I always buy large pieces and although he can wear them I may keep them for another season because they are quite large for him. I like camouflage, maybe a gender neutral jacket as my 9 year old daughter loves it too. Great quality, good side pockets, I really like the fabric wristbands to keep the cold out of the sleeves. Simply the

Pros
  • Grandson loves perfect fir tree
Cons
  • Bags are not strong and tear easily

6 pockets, durable, warm! GOOD

This is a great winter jacket. It looks good and is very well built. The outer fabric is thick and durable. It looks and feels like heavy canvas, but it's polyester. The interior is fully lined with smooth, quilted polyester. Reflective stripes on chest and back. During the day it looks very neutral and only stands out as a reflective material when the light hits it. Very pretty. The jacket closes with a heavy duty plastic zipper and then closes with a buttoned flap. The inner cuffs on the…

Pros
  • Resists water and snow with a waterproof and windproof outer shell.
Cons
  • Wool tends to snag and break easily

Stylish and warm!: my rating

My son loves this jacket! He says he feels warm and dry in them, even when he's playing snowballs and sledding. The materials are sturdy and appear to be well made. He has had no problems with it and gets compliments every time he wears it. The camouflage design is very trendy and the colors are great too. It definitely deserves 5 stars!

Pros
  • My son uses this jacket for skiing. Keeps him warm and dry. He likes it
Cons
  • The jacket looked nice and would keep you warm, but it's heavy. XL fits a petite adult woman who is a size 4 or 6.

Excellent quality warm jacket

A chubby 8 year old boy will fit in this medium sized jacket with little room to grow. It got pretty chilly in NYC over the weekend, with a low of 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and this jacket kept my nephew nice and warm. This kids arctic tundra jacket appears to be very well made. All seams are of high quality and the design looks quite timeless. The zippers are smooth and easy to fasten and undo. I like the waterproof and windproof fabric, good for playing in the snow. It probably won't keep him…

Pros
  • Un peu déçu qu'il n'est pas aussi chaud que j'aurais penser ... -20 degrees n'est pas assez pour les hivers du Québec ...
Cons
  • The overall design of the coat is too bulky and doesn't look attractive.

surprisingly warm: my review

I bought this for my medium sized 10 year old and it fit him well with extra room to grow. He loves how warm it is and also very light. The fabric of this jacket is of very good quality. The zippers work well and slide easily. The cuffs on the sleeves are adjustable with buttons, which is very convenient. The two front pockets are deep and also with buttons. There are also two additional zippered side pockets. It also comes with an inner pocket on the right side with velcro closure which is…

Pros
  • Bonne grandeur, belle qualité du tissu
Cons
  • The zipper is too small and awkward to use

Warm, well-tailored, stylish camouflage pattern

This is an excellent quality jacket, fully lined, with a hood and hidden pockets. Two inside and four outside pockets. This jacket is made of 100% polyester but will keep you warm in cold weather from -20 to 35 degrees. The coat can be washed in cold water. A big plus for active guys! My 11 year old grandson said it was very comfortable and he loves the camo style. I definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Machine washable for easy care and maintenance
Cons
  • The collar is too stiff and uncomfortable around the neck

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent quality, very heavy and warm, waterproof

I bought this jacket in medium size black camo for my 8 year old son. Average size is 10-12 and is a bit big for him as expected but better than giving him a size he outgrows in a year. This is definitely a very nice and very warm jacket that protects the child from the cold, rain and wind. It is very water resistant and is said to be suitable for temperatures from -20°F to 35°F. It's freezing here and he's worn this coat a number of times and he's been very warm and dry in it. This is a very…

Pros
  • Perfect for casual trips and outdoor adventures
Cons
  • The jacket is not designed for extreme winter temperatures.

Continuous. . continuous. . . expensive for Made in Bangladesh

The first thing that strikes you about this coat is the "durability" of the material. Made from 100% polyester with a PU coating. Front zip closure. . . then a strip of fabric with buttons covering the zipper. There is a 4 inch 'flap' at the bottom of the back that can be opened. There are two small zippered pockets on each side of the upper front. There is a buttoned pocket on each side of the lower front. Inside is no pocket. Unfortunately, there are no hand pockets either. I am size medium…

Pros
  • The breathable design prevents sweating and keeps your child comfortable all day long.
Cons
  • Jacket easily picks up fluff and pet hair

Do you need a nice and warm jacket for a boy?

Good: - Warm - Good fit - Sturdy construction - Easy to wash - Stylish Bad: - None Conclusion: My nephew loves this Arctix Boys Tundra Jr. insulated jacket because it's warm and it looks great. He thinks it looks like military snow camouflage. The jacket is durable and has many pockets. The jacket fits my 12 year old nephew very well. The jacket is easy to wash and dries quickly for a thick jacket. Overall I would recommend this Arctix Boys Tundra Jr Insulation Jacket.

Pros
  • Comes in a stylish steel color that will appeal to both boys and girls.
Cons
  • The jacket is not breathable, which leads to overheating and sweating.
