Edit: Guess a lot of dingbats return modems and Comcast can't remove it from an 'active' account for some stupid reason. Looks brand new and everything just can't be used with Comcast! YES it works with Optimum Online, I just connected mine on January 5th, 2020 in Westchester, NY. Do yourself a favor and save some money by NOT renting their equipment, this modem is tiny compared to Optimal. This SB6 183 surfboard has had no problems in the whole time I've owned it (several months). We use it with MAC OS X, Android and anything Roku uses. We constantly get the nominal speed of our tariff (30 Mbit/s down and 5 Mbit/s down) from the cable provider.
