It's a great hand tool at work

Let me start by saying that this tool is a great rivet remover when it works. However, I had issues with the tool head becoming detached and the tool being further removed (see image). I bought this instrument on Friday, but by Sunday it was already broken. Now remember that I installed 1/4 inch shank steel rivets in a cattle trailer. The rivets were very difficult to get out, but this tool did the trick. I had to install about 230 rivets, so that was it. day of the deal. It worked fine…

Works great with 1/4 " stainless steel rivets - the strongest rivets

I have these rivet pliers to knock out 1/4" stainless steel rivets to fix the rusty bottom of my 1988 E150 van (you can look at that picture I've attached) by riveting a piece of 18 gauge galvanized steel. I wanted to use 1/4" stainless steel for its strength (greater than steel, SS has a tensile strength of 2100 pounds versus 1500 pounds for steel) and lack of rust, but stainless steel rivets are the hardest to crack. Professional quality, worth the price

I've used it on several projects even when other tools didn't work. I found this riveter to be professional and definitely way better than the nameless ones you can find at discount tool stores. I'm a former aircraft mechanic, so riveting is an art I'm well versed in. I know a good riveter when I see them, and I know who the fuck is when I see them. This former.
