When I made the two upper ball joints I rented a press from an auto parts store and both times the press kit was missing parts and little did you know it was exactly the parts I needed. Very good set with lots of cups. I used it on the lower ball joints of a Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 03, RWD (2WD). I didn't use the C-clip that came with it, but it would probably work. Instead I bought an OTC 6736 C-Clip (much wider bore) and matching OTC 6730 C-Clip adapters and then used the cups from that kit. By the way, this kit includes all four cups from the Dodge/Jeep OTC 7894, so don't buy it thinking you'll have more coverage. Why only 4 stars - well not really a problem with this kit or any

This ball joint press is a very decent quality tool but it is incomplete. Obviously this is not an OTC or snap-on BJP1 master kit, they could have done better. Pros: C-press and ejector screw threading is extremely smooth. I am very happy about this detail. The C-Press is forged and incredibly heavy.
