Something so cheap and plasticky but still so good.

I bought it here for about $9. The first thing that struck me was how cheap it felt in my hands when I pulled it out of the box. I'm thinking what cheap crap I bought. I went to Costco, filled the tires with nitrogen and put it on their gauge. My god, this gauge was accurate compared to the Costco and T gauge monitor. I scratched the back of my head. How can something be so cheap and the plastic we had was so damn good. I am 100% satisfied and glad I bought it. Rschunimagu. Thank you Revain and

No accuracy claims

If you look at the AstroAI website and read everything on the box and instructions and the Revain page, then there is no indication at all of the percentage accuracy and + - any kind of tolerance for accuracy. Just because it's a digital meter doesn't mean it's accurate. What makes something accurate is that it is calibrated to a known standard and quality control measures are in place to ensure accuracy is repeatable. myself.

Precise, accurate and easy to use

Works exactly as stated in the product description. I've used it to inflate car tires to 43-44psi. My first tire inflator didn't have a pressure gauge, so it came in very handy. I checked the accuracy with two other pressure gauges I had lying around. They were all about the same. The second tire inflator I bought (the first ran forever and was very noisy) had an analog gauge built in which I thought would make this digital gauge redundant, but good thing I had it because the analog far was…

Battery replacement and battery costs

This machine uses one CR2032 battery and three LR44 batteries. These aren't the kind of batteries that the typical homeowner hangs around with. And the cost of replacing these batteries is higher than the cost of the device. Also, you need to disassemble the device, two small Phillips screws to replace the batteries. I currently have two digital meters that use two AAA batteries, with a convenient sliding door for removing and replacing the batteries, no tools required. And in many cases, AAA…

Stopped working after 8 months. Uses button cell batteries.

My AstroAI digital tire pressure sensor stopped working about 6 months after purchase. I opened the device and found a CR2032 battery and three LR44 batteries. I thought the batteries were dead so I checked each one with a multimeter. All LR44 batteries showed a voltage of 1.49-1.51 volts and CR2032 - 3.02 volts. I don't have the opportunity to test the batteries under load, so it's possible they're close to exhaustion, but ordering replacement batteries is costing me more than buying a new…
