Fits in your pocket. Take two, leave one face up on the bench, the other in your pocket. You need to practice unpacking and storing probes for your handheld device. Replacing the batteries requires a small Phillips screwdriver, which is inconvenient when you first find it right after the unit shipped with no batteries installed. :-)

Great little multimeter at an affordable price. It's portable, yes, the cords are short, and it doesn't have the $400 casual-case features. But if you just want the basic features of a portable size DMM, not much more than a wallet. it's hard to beat. I have one on every bike and I can't count the number of times it's come in handy to help people in trouble diagnose a problem.

Very handy and compact, decent performance for size and price, folds into its own case. Has features that might be unusual for a cheap tiny handheld multimeter: auto-ranging with optional manual range, data retention, 4000 count, claims "true rms" (but I haven't tested this). There is a "Rel" button on the front panel, but it uses the same button as the "Hold" function; I was only able to turn on the relative function when measuring capacitance.
