The picture and dimensions given led me to believe the bags open on the wider side (6 inches). It's not: The zipper is at 4 inches. Side. The sliding closure mechanism narrows the true opening of the bag to approximately 3 inches. This is a great price and they appear to be just as good as the ones Uline sells. However, there were close to 75 of them and they are not far from perfect and as I use them to protect the pillows I make this is important to me. These bags are not defective as they still serve their purpose. However, the side corners of the top cover took too long to melt during the production process and they look sloppy.
