This is a thermometer that warns when the water is too hot

I bought this thermometer to know the water temperature more objectively and not just to measure the water temperature with my hands. Nice that there is a red LED to warn you when the water is too hot. The size is palm size, smaller than what I understood from the product description page. It works great and is cute too. It's good to have it to check the temperature of the bath water before the kids jump in.

. The hippo is in C°, not F°, which I'm fine with because it flashes red when needed.

I was very upset when I received this because the box was completely destroyed and we thought it was broken until my 3° that's fine with me because it flashes red when it's too hot I really love it because it's unlike a duck like most people and I love how cute it is. Works great if you know how to use it. With the hippo, you have to tap it to wake it up in order for it to work, which is different.

Automatic power supply does not always work

Bought a version of the hippopotamus. It was not clear from the description, but only a duck has the ability to see not only degrees Celsius, but also Fahrenheit. Other styles only use degrees Celsius, which doesn't get in the way; I can do math and the red light function when it's too hot still works regardless of units. We're annoyed that there's no way to turn it on and off manually. Initially we really liked the thermometer because it would turn on automatically when you dropped it in water
