This gate was so difficult to put together. A few details are missing, maybe that's why. But the instructions are difficult to follow. It also just stopped working and now my toddler can open it. Very frustrating

The gate is ideal. Very good to learn with a new active lab puppy. He can see what's going on in the kitchen but stays out of trouble. I made the side bumpers to save our door frame. I didn't want to screw anything into the door jamb. I highly recommend.

The gate doesn't look cheap. It was easy to install. I have a gate clamp that can hold 4 puppies weighing around 30-50lbs each as they all lean against the gate together when they get excited when I give them treats or food. Would recommend to people who have dogs.

This is a solid gate. Unlike other gates I have, it can be opened with one hand and our dog cannot accidentally open it. I particularly like the self-closing function. I would have preferred the latch to require a little less effort to open, but it's probably good for keeping kids inside. The cat door doesn't really serve a purpose. Our cats just jump over it. If we open the cat door, the dog could go through.

Not good for my cats. I didn't want the kids and my dog to go upstairs. Unfortunately my cats can't get through the bars. So if you want to keep cats away from bars, that's fine. But my goal was to keep the dog away from the cats. I wanted the cats to have access to the house. And of course it's great to protect children from climbing stairs. What I like is the durability. The gate will close if you give it a light push. Looks great! Don't screw it up and don't follow the installment…
