Works very well especially when stainless steel has stains and streaks. Metal shines like new. Works well if you've painted metal, but requires some elbow sliding. I always use it with a blue lining to avoid scratching the metal. I even use it in my moka pot to keep those black spots from forming. A small amount makes a big difference.

This is a great product to keep your pots, pans and steel sinks looking new. Unfortunately, when the product arrived, one of the lids was completely ripped off and the other was bent in such a way that the product inside was exposed. At the bottom of the box was a product that spread all over the counter where it was opened. The package looked like it was wet and broken. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bar Keepers Friend but would hesitate to order this way again.

Finally there is a cleaning agent that can do more than just whiten. A bartender's friend cleans stainless steel pots and pans where other cleaners can't. Also, my daughter has a granite sink that some chemicals and cleaning products can damage. A bartender friend says it's safe for granite, so I tried it and it worked fine without damaging the sink.
