One of the best value for money

Not the best in the world but it's a great light for the money unless you're growing plants that need super intense light, I've used them on several tanks with good success.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poor instructions

THIS LIGHT FOR MY FACTORIES

I have and currently use five lights of various sizes and lengths that are made and sold for these lights. They will vary from one to the other in about 15 minutes. Overall this is a great product!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Repair

No complaints to Fish & Aquatic Pets

Bought just over a year ago and still working. Place it over our 30 gallon fresh water tank and leave it on blue light mode. Sometimes I open the blinds to let in natural light, but mostly it's just blue light to keep the algae out. Everything blooms. I can easily switch to white light whenever I want. Have it on a timer.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Available in white only

Very bright! - Fish and Aquatic Animals

I've had mine for almost a year and it's still working, I haven't had any quality issues. I have the timer module and it's worth the money. This light is very bright and makes it very easy to grow plants. I bought this lighter version because it weighs 29g and I need the right PAR for a 18.75" deep tank. This flashlight does it with no problem. shade algae grow here very bright light make sure your aquarium dweller not sensitive to bright light.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Fits

Extremely bright for aquarium lights

Extremely bright, over the top for my low tech 29 gal, as expected so I ordered a Nicrew dimmer too and my stem plants are feeling great. If I add CO2 at the end I can set the nicrew dimmer. Update: It's been a few months and my stem plants are growing like weeds! And with the Nicrew Dimmer I had almost no algae. The exact opposite of my old Aquaneat lighting system at 10,000K and a light output of 3,600. The aqua was much lighter than my current setup but the plants barely grew but there was a

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Expensive

Great light for 20 gallon long aquariums.

To be honest, I didn't want to buy this flashlight. I was actually looking at another flashlight from this manufacturer and Revain pushed me towards this product. When I got it I was very disappointed. Apart from another light I needed a 20 light so I decided to keep this one and give it a try as such. I'm very glad I did. I use very light sand in my tanks and so FSPEC lights don't look good in shorter (tall) tanks. Not this one. There are no weird visual effects and the aquarium is beautifully

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I'm not satisfied with everything
