Cooling: Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

My air conditioner is no longer blowing cold air and after some research it was determined that the problem was with the HVAC controller. The part was a bit tricky to install if you have big hands, but the air went cold immediately after installation. You can't live in South Texas without air. Revain has had the best price yet, so I keep going back to what I know. Great products and great customer support.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Solved my blower problem :D

Fits well part is slightly different but does the job the spikes are smaller but it doesn't matter. Replacing a part is a bit tricky as space is limited, but with the right amount of patience, it's doable. If you have AC problems, check the fuses first and then these, and if you replaced both, the fan itself could blow. they are really hard to break

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Old model

The part sucks, not reliable.

Installed because Chinese junk received from eBay. It was hella and I thought it would be reliable. The first shot did not help. Later that day he showed up and worked for a while. Now it doesn't work at all. I tried to pull it out today and burned my fingers, obviously the part is overheating and broken. The fan stopped working after a month. I bought a part of the Rein brand from fcpeuro, it is made in Germany. Twice the price but as they say you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Useless features

says Behr is Hella but I'm not sure

This is the second time I've replaced this resistor in my son's BMW 330XI. The last one didn't even last a year. Okay, first time I bought a cheap resistor and heard that they don't always last. So this time I paid more money and ordered a Behr Hella part instead of a small Behr Hella sticker. , this part is identical to the cheap part I ordered a year ago. Time will tell if this holds up. Based on the appearance of the part, I cannot confirm if it is a genuine Behr part. Although I'm not sure.

The heater/cooler fan on my 2002 325xi works again after .

My 2002 325xi fan heater/cooler is working again after replacing this part! Watch a YouTube video on how to replace this fan resistor before tackling it. You will need a long Torx T20 screwdriver to replace it. First you need to remove the glove box (assuming your driver's seat is on the left side of the car). You will also need to remove the lower plastic cover under the glove box. Another component is screwed to this part. It's narrow and hard to see, so I used my iPhone camera and flashlight

  • Feels good

EXACTLY what you need.

If your air conditioner is blowing slowly, weakly, intermittently or not at all, this is what you need to solve the problem. 9 out of 10 times. Second, your fan motor has failed. But that almost never happens. The metal teeth are slightly different from the original teeth, but the fit is about 99% accurate. The quality is excellent. I expected nothing less from Bera. The only complaint I have is that the packaging was not adequately protected. It was a small box with bubble wrap inside. You'd…

You save a lot of money and it works!

If you are on a budget, these types of auto parts will allow you to own a vintage BMW and drive it like you are really rich. The same part costs about $100 more at the dealer (I'm not exaggerating). If you do what I did, you can save even more money by installing it yourself. There are tutorial videos on youtube if you know how to find them and show how to install this part. I had to replace this part on my 1997 BMW 528i when I found that the heater and air conditioning fan was not working at…

I have decided that my 2002 325 xi fan will not turn on.

Remove and install the puzzle. He should come up with new expletives since I've used mine. You show how it's done and you're halfway there. It's hard to turn it off. It's hard to figure out. installation is complicated. I had to use 2 screwdrivers to get it out because there is a tab that keeps it in place even after you loosen the screws. Installation wasn't easy. I even considered just leaving the new one plugged in and hanging there because the fan ran even though it wasn't in the hole. I…

Don't buy unknown brands, it will cost you money! Buy this.

Update: 04/28/2019 So far so good Update: 07/19/2018 This Behr Hella device is holding up well after almost 10 months. I didn't pay attention to the country of the original, it probably doesn't matter that much these days. A named brand is a named brand, behind its name is a manufacturer. ********* 2003 330i M46, 93,000 miles. My home block served 14 years! I ordered and replaced it with an unnamed brand (less than $20) and it worked. Less than 5 months! Luckily I didn't really trust this…
