Now you can leave the 12 to 110 inverter in the car to power the laptop. This adapter eliminates the need to use an inverter to power a laptop in a mobile environment that requires a DC output: 18.5V, 19V, 19.5V, 20V at 90W. The adapter is well filtered and oscillator noise I didn't notice the sound. Also, this adapter has a good selection of attachments that adapt to most laptop brands.

Ideal for direct current!

This is a great set for street warriors like us. I have both Lenovo and HP laptops that have their own proprietary connectors and it does a great job of needing to use it in an emergency! Also, I have a power station for working in places without access to outlets (the size of a car battery) that offers 110V AC outlets as well as a 12V DC port, and using the AC charger that came with the laptop is a waste of time. Energy (converting DC battery power to AC and then connecting to my laptop'sโ€ฆ
