I was curious as to why they weren't working so well so I contacted the manufacturer to find out what water/detergent/clothing ratio to use. I was surprised to learn that they stopped making them in 2009 and that the manufacturer was surprised that anyone was still trying to sell them. They don't work because they are 10 years old and long expired.

I like that this product is eco-friendly and easy to pack. However, if I use it for international travel I would like to pack more because I kept using more as I used it as it didn't lather much which made me wonder if I should add more. But since I have an increased sensitivity to allergens, this product was suitable for me. Red wine got spilled on my overalls on the plane and this detergent cleaned it up as soon as I got to my destination so I was happy. Just don't expect a strong odor when…

I took them on a 2 week trip to Italy and also picked up Woolite 0.5 oz packs. Both worked about the same and produced the same amount of foam. However, the Woolite packs are much smaller. 0.5 oz vs 1 oz and made the same foam. People have complained about the berry smell in this soap, but I didn't notice it at all. Both packs were good for about 3 pieces in the sink and rinsed out well. If I had to choose one or the other, I would choose Woolite purely for its more effective concentrated size.
