Strong magnetic force!

Excellent holding power! Worked great for holding the roll cage while welding. I recommend getting more than one. I got this as a replacement for the WMS-3 which was unusable and had no holding power.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few little things

Perfect right angles

This magnet is perfect for welding square tubes. I built a steel aquarium stand using this product. The stand requires perfect right angles to support up to 1000 pounds. of water, sand and stone. This product has been very helpful in keeping parts square when welding.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Very strong measuring and marking tool

They cost a little more than other magnets. But I think they are worth it after using them for a bit. They are very strong, so strong that they are very cumbersome to use due to the effort involved in moving them. I use a small, soft hammer to make these small adjustments before nailing anything.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never

Great magnetic power. No corners and edges. Goodbye.

The Bessey WMS-5 Magnetic Printing Square is equipped with a SUPER strong magnet. At first I wasn't aware of the power of the magnet, and the first time I put it on a piece of metal, it hit it! The 90 degree angles are nice and square. These clamping angles are worth their money. For those interested. It is no longer made in Australia. Mine now says "Made in India".

Pros
  • Package Dimensions: 12.19cm (L) x 10.67cm (W) x 3.05cm (H)
Cons
  • Not Sure

Big enough and strong enough

It's always hard to know what you're actually getting from just seeing a picture. Now that I have them in my shop I can tell you that they hold the tack weld stuff together pretty well. The 4" x 4" 90 degree surfaces are a manageable size for the jobs I've tested them for so far. I bought two and used them straight away to see if they held up. They work great and keep me productive so I'll probably order another set to have on hand.

Pros
  • Pack quantity: 1
Cons
  • No power

Made in India for Carpenter's Squares

Received my "Bessey" brackets only to find they are not the ones pictured. Not only do they look different, they are also made in India instead of Austria. Upon closer inspection, they're no better made than the cheap Chinese kits I've owned for years. Of course the magnet is strong, just like in my Chinese set. I was willing to pay a little more for quality but I didn't get that. Second, the inner magnet is exposed. The squares don't even have a common strip of metal around the perimeter to…
