Worked but was very short

This puller is too short in my opinion. It bolts onto the stator leaving a small protrusion on the pull rod. The whole block should be made with more depth.

Worked great! - Engine Tools

I used this to remove the flywheel from my 2016 RZR XP4 1000 to replace the ferrule. It worked great. I used a 20mm deep impact socket with a Chicago Electric impact wrench. I wanted to use a deep hammer head over the hammer head to provide more puller pin area on the bushing. Remember to lubricate the threads on both parts of the puller.

Works great on a 2012 900 XP

I hated spending so much money to do a 5 minute job but I had to remove the flywheel and nobody loaned this tool. This puller took it off in seconds with a few quick jabs from a percussion gun. I was a little concerned after reading the negative reviews before purchasing. I think they either considered the wrong tool or used it incorrectly. I don't know how you can screw it up if you haven't unscrewed the bolt in the crank.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Only available in white

Has no flimsy threads to work with.

Not impressed Positive at first - installation was ok and worked first time. After a single use, a scratch remains on the end of the bolt. Also, there is no chamfer to protect the threads near the anvil. A thread that does the job is a coarse thread that requires a lot more torque to get the same applied pressure as a fine thread. The thread is also a left-hand thread. It works, but you keep thinking it's the other way around! I gave 2 stars because it really worked and I was able to take the…
