Great value - the movement itself isn't as strong or thick metal as my 1920, but it does the job, is secure and clicks well.

Very thin metal. The old ones that look the same have been removed and the old bars made 💯% better. I look for them and replace them when I find them.

These fasteners are made in Taiwan, very cheaply made and not worth the price paid. They may be suitable for limited use but will not stand up to more intensive use.

Robust, well built. And not some kind of "soft" latch for windows. Thick, matching - maybe 3/4 inch - screws. Not those dainty 3/8 or 1/2 inch with very fine threads. A good buy.

Our home is over 100 years old and we've spent a long time searching for cabinet locks that match the original fittings. They look great and work perfectly.

The assembly took about 30 minutes, mainly due to the fact that this chair is made of solid wood. The wood screws provided were much better for this project than others I've tried before, and the strength of the mechanics makes for a very secure closure.
