The bowl itself is beautiful, it's smaller than you think

The bowl itself is beautiful, it's smaller than you think. The color I received does not match the color of the picture in any way and there was no indication that the bowl you received could be that different from the picture. The one I received is literally almost white wood.

Received it today and was so disappointed when I opened the box and bowl.

I was delighted to open this item as it was a Mother's Day gift for my mum who loves to knit! Received it today and was so disappointed when I opened the box and the bowl was cracked! So I guess I'm sending it back and I don't have a replacement for Mother's Day.

Be careful, mine was moldy.

Disappointed. The bowl is small. But the worst thing is that it smelled when I opened the box and took out the bowl. Not bad, but relative. As I took it out of the plastic case, I tripped over the powdered form with my fingertips. Pooh! I washed it and polished it with oil, it got better. The inside of the bowl is rough, not smooth like I thought.
