Good enough.: Bar braces and hangers

Perfect for what I use it for. If you're looking for release quality, this may not be for you. If you want strong braces that work and look decent then this is for you.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Working speed

Can't recommend - Brace and Beam Hangers

They're thin and light at best. The screws are not stainless. The protective coating does not peel off easily, leaving behind hard-to-reach residue that is difficult to remove.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Flawed

Non stainless steel screws

These mounts are not as well made as the ones I've bought before. I will return to the previous seller. However, they are cheap. The included screws are good, but not stainless steel.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Expensive

good price best industrial gear

I bought this gear for a specific job that I haven't done yet, so it's difficult to give a full review. The order came quickly, the goods correspond to the declaration. It looks good and is a great price for this amount of gear.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • appearance

Good brackets but you may need to replace the screws

Some of the screws supplied broke very easily when screwing into jaws. I switched to screws from the hardware store. The brackets seem fine. They came with a thin blue protective film that I found difficult to remove.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Screws are no good

12 x 90 degree brackets + screws for almost $10. The staples were strong enough to get the job done, but they were covered in gray paint that peeled off easily. The screws are completely useless. I broke 4 out of 4 screw heads when I applied some torque. Had to purchase additional screws making this "don't buy" advice for others.

Pros
  • GLA certified
Cons
  • Ok

Stainless Steel Brackets with Cheap Zinc Screws

The brackets are well made but unfortunately they come with Zinc Screws which will rust quickly if exposed to the elements. I bought stainless steel brackets instead of plain steel brackets because I needed weather protection for my project. Now I have to buy a box of stainless steel screws at an additional cost.

Pros
  • Material - 201 Rust Resistant Stainless Steel with 6 holes for secure attachment
Cons
  • Other Other

Stainless steel brackets simple steel screws

Brackets OK, light stainless steel, suitable for my purpose, fairly well made. The supplied screws are made of normal steel. Can't imagine anyone buying stainless steel brackets and installing them with plain steel screws and not selling them together either. If you can't see the difference you can always use a magnet, stainless steel is not magnetic. Given the price of the order, I did not return, just bought stainless steel screws. With new screws the deal is not so attractive

Pros
  • Improved - dent in center to increase bracket strength
Cons
  • Not sure

Strong and durable, with some flaws

Overall great. Strong, durable and pleasing to the eye. The screw heads are soft and come loose fairly easily when I drive them into the pre-drilled holes in the plywood. Even if the screws are perfectly aligned, they won't sit perfectly flush with the bracket. Not much for what I used them for, but worth mentioning. It's nice that screws are included so you don't have to search for the right fasteners. They come with a blue foil to protect them from scratches which is nice but the foil is very

Pros
  • Simplicity - just use a screwdriver or electric drill to attach the bracket in one go.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
