Take off the mask.

Here's the thing, it really works. However, the ammonia in that darn strong "well-ventilated area" doesn't even start cutting it. You will not use this in an open garage door. You take your desk into the driveway. It's so strong, and no, I'm not kidding. Will it help revitalize old brass? It would anyway. (But you'll sweat a lot and ruin a lot of rags.) Will you ever be able to use this around the house? No, unless you want to invite the Grim Reaper over for a nice cup of tea from Grandma's…

The first and last polish I will ever use!

The first and only polish I will be using. I only had a few things that could be used for TLC, some of them had a lot of oxidation, I mean HEAVY. You really should put some fat in it. Sometimes it doesn't work the first time. You'll also have to rub hard to get everything, but if you have items you want to shine, this is for you. DO NOT breathe it, it's like "smelling salts: it contains ammonia and is very strong, wash your hands every time you're done with it!" The blacker your cleaning cloth,

Really magical! for household goods

I have a stainless steel refrigerator that is not old. Just a few years. I'm not ready to replace him! Yellow spots appeared on the handle. I don't know what they were. Rust? Bought a stainless steel cleaner/polish. This made the fridge shiny, but didn't touch the yellow stains. So I foolishly tried the scrubby very carefully. Of course there were huge scratches. Much worse than yellow spots. So I have some blue magic. It's really magical. A small dab is rubbed in for a few minutes and the…

Did a good job: Household items

I'm trying to fix my front door to sell my house and the brass striker definitely looked worse for the dishes. I had to order a new handle for my storm door but I decided to polish the old strike plate rather than buy a new one. Good work. I think it had a protective coating at some point so the part not exposed to the elements ended up with a mottled finish, but the part you can see with the door closed, the part that looked the worst was sanded nicely. It took about 5 minutes and some elbow…

I bought it not expecting it to work. Wow

Santa put a 1/3 scale Civil War copper cannon under my tree. I want it to shine and I bought Brasso and Tarnex at the supermarket. Neither of them squatted with breaststroke. I bought it not expecting it to work better. Wow. I opened the jar and removed the seal under the lid. With only a tiny amount on the seal before throwing it away and only a paper towel, I tried it on the first few inches of the mouth. I joke that this thing doesn't work. From a matte look to a mirrored brass finish in…

Really wonderful metal polish and more

I have used Simichrome, Brasso, Never Dull, Flitz, Mother's, Miracle and Turtle Wax metal polishes and some regular polishes and I prefer Blue Magic over them all. I haven't found a better product yet which is why I've been using it for almost 30 years now. It works great with all metals including copper and nickel (and their alloys), stainless steel, tool steel, chrome, aluminum, magnesium, tin, titanium, gold, silver, platinum, rhodium, you name it. It's a pretty reasonable price and a little

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I tried different types of polishes, as well as several unfamiliar methods of polishing metal surfaces, none of which worked like Blue Magic. Didn't even use the buffer I pulled out to use, I was shocked! The silicone coating it leaves on the surface gives you peace of mind that it will remain protected. The texture is not hard and not grainy, does not dry out the hands. I was very impressed as were my friends I tried. I really wanted to test this out by polishing a side or half of the article…
