I got them without screws but that's ok I used mine anyway. I use a hex bolt MUCH better than the cheap stuff I see in pictures. Color... well, you know, it's color. I changed mine. I wanted a darker, deeper red to match my highlift, none of which matters when I'm pulling myself out of a ravine or up a hill. Yes, I'll get my jeep off the concrete, that's where it belongs in the dirt with my cool door accents, eat that!

Take your time, mark the holes (I used a marker) and use a hole punch to mark the holes so the drill bit doesn't slip on you. I installed them, then removed one bolt and painted ten bolts black (they provide you with extra bolts so you can leave the grips on while you paint the bolts if you like. I don't recommend going with just one bolt , unless you need it Remove the grips to ride.

This is such a simple and inexpensive Wrangler modification. The processing of the set I bought seems to be very good. They fit well enough. Installation was easy. All I needed was a small drill and a Phillips screwdriver. They give the Wrangler a finished solid look. They match my steps in Smithybilt as an expected benefit. I can highly recommend the product. I wish they had a handle insert on the passenger side.

Easy to install. The fit is not 100% but looks and works well. I added a little blue tie to the screws to hold them in place. Also, the screws aren't as bad as some people have. I had no problems installing them. There are no broken screws and they are well aligned. A tip: line them up with the radius near the thumb button. It will fit, look and feel better. Tools used: clamp, clamp, 1/16 bit, 1/8 bit and screwdriver. I painted them with cheap black Walmart paint. Which dries pretty quickly.

Great stuff, I like the look they give my jeep. Before putting them on I painted the inside of the handles green and it looks really great. The only issue I had was that they seemed to fit better on different grips, so make sure you walk around and decide where you're going to place each one. I made the mistake of carrying all but one and the last one didn't fit the handle as well as the rest so it came out a bit. However, it is only really noticeable if you look at it directly.

I read the reviews before purchasing because I want to add red accents to my jeep and I want them to look good and match. This is one of those little things that most people can't figure out right away. Your Jeep will look nicer, but at first glance it may not be clear why. Really looks like it could have been straight from the factory. I especially love the hidden dark look of the black inserts on my black handles on my black jeep. The package arrived on time. Everything you need was in the box, even extra screws. I ordered red pen inserts and the color was more of a bright red, almost a little orange. I wanted a darker red to match the rim around the RUBICON. A lot of other reviews said the color faded quickly so I planned on painting it anyway.
