Great original part at a great price

I bought a Bosch 16978 from Amazon in May 2014. I would like to say that this was the correct part for my Audi TT MK1. Revain's recommendation was correct as it matched the car and better yet the price was the best as it was a brand new Bosch premium at a greatly reduced price from the original cost. I'm glad to know that Revain offers genuine branded parts at great prices and I don't have to question the authenticity of the weather or any knockoff you may find on Ebay.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • can be retrofitted

Direct Fit/Replacement

I bought this for my 2002 Beetle Turbo S Downstream. It is an exact replacement, plug and play. The only problem is that the cord is a lot longer than what came in the car. However, this is easily resolved with a couple of ties. There is an extra connector in the kit, maybe it is for other cars? However, the Turbo S requires no trimming or splicing. Remove the two screws in the band clamp that connect the spool and intermediate tube. They will most likely break, go to low and buy them stainless

  • Very Impressive

Replace hard work!

Installing this sensor was not easy as it was behind the cat. There was an engine check code identifying this as a faulty rear sensor, dammit! The new sensor had a longer wire so I just twisted it into a loop with a zip tie and all was good. After driving the car for a day, the check engine light finally went out. This was for a 2005 Audi A4 1.8L Turbo. Don't attempt to install it unless you have an O2 sensor port and a 1/2" swivel adapter and 1/2" extension and ratchet. The only way to change.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Easy installation and perfect fit.

I had an O2 sensor failure. The retailer wanted more than double for the same sensor, so I decided to look for an alternative. This part was found to be compatible with my 2003 Audi allroad 2.7T as well as several other makes/models. In case you didn't know, Bosch is the manufacturer of many VW/Audi parts including O2 sensors. Upon initial inspection, I found that the replacement was identical in shape and construction to the original. It was easy to install and just worked. The kit contains 2…
