Outdoor RV Traction Strap

When I first ordered this product, I did not receive it. Revain contacted me and asked if I would like more of this item. Revain ordered it from another seller and I received it with no problems. The traction belt was easy to install and well made. I would order again if I needed more.

Pros
  • Protect your RV. These RV awning traction straps can be used to control the awning's rolling up smoothly, preventing the hood from rolling up quickly and damaging your beloved RV.
Cons
  • Empty

Very bad and dangerous design

Very bad design. The plastic base protrudes far beyond the caterpillar. When I first set up the awning, the plastic base that the strap attaches to punched a hole in the tent. NOT a happy backpacker (literally) at the moment. Now I have to mend my once very good awning.

Pros
  • Improved strong connection. BougeRV RV straps use strong and durable plastic connectors. Not only can the connection be used for a long time, and it will not be broken during use like a weak connection.
Cons
  • ---

The plastic assembly that sits in the caterpillar sticks out too far and is preventing the curtain from closing properly. I had to cut off a piece protruding from the caterpillar to allow the screen to wrap properly. After some work, what was left worked fine. It only required one extra step to get it working.

Pros
  • 12 MONTH WARRANTY: Your BougeRV product comes with a 12 month warranty. If you have any problems, please feel free to contact us.
Cons

Better than factory

The traction belts are very well made! The nylon strap is thicker than the original strap that I replaced. The plastic connector is one-piece and offers a reliable long service life. The strap is more than long enough to remain visible even after the awning has been rolled up. The only downside I see is that the plastic connector sticks out of the groove of the roll where the clip can mark when rolling up the fabric. I decided to reuse my old clip with a new strap and the combination was great!

Pros
  • 9.8ft (118in) belts. Not suitable for most thrill seekers. The BougeRV RV's traction strap is long enough that it will NOT disappear when rolled up.
Cons
  • Difficult to say
