Cable management is good. Centering the monitor on the side stand.

Pure genius let me use my old treadmill to build the flight simulator. IMHO it will support a lot more than the spec says, especially with the addition of a rubber pad inserted under the OEM to increase grip. There are many assembly options, you can open each connection and move it as you like. Cable management is good. Centering the monitor in a side bar setup (treadmills in my case) is very easy. Would buy again anytime.

Great for the HOTAS chair

I use two of these to install HOTAS on a chair and they work great. Tension adjustment allows you to fix some joints and leave others flexible. I have the front connection loose enough that I can move the controllers back and side to side when not in use. I used about 10 pounds of velcro to attach the hots to the TV mount. They're a bit heavy and pull on the armrests of the chair, so I used some small zip ties to secure the armrests so they don't move. I'm sure they would be great for a TV, but

(Fixed) [No longer] Total junk

*Original review*: I don't understand the good reviews. it doesn't even hold the 12# monitor in place. The articulated arms are too loose to even support his weight. I've tried removing the plastic plugs to tighten them but to no avail so far. Next time I'll try a cutting disc. skip it *Updated July 21, 2020*: I found how easy it was to remove the end caps and was able to tighten the nut. This works very well now. You remove the end caps by gently grasping the edges with pliers and unscrewingโ€ฆ

Buy a Versa-TILE (hah. See what I made there?)

I'm sure a lot of people watching this are actually looking for something to mount their monitor to. Do it. Holy shit do it. I didn't buy it looking for a monitor mount. I bought these with the intention of fully modifying them to work with the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS throttle and flight stick and they do not disappoint. Office chair in the driver's cab. I'm so impressed with these things that I can't think of anything negative. They hold over 20 pounds of steel-coated throttle in placeโ€ฆ

So I use them differently.

I use it a bit unorthodox. I built a weightless chair work station where I can lean back and let monitors dangle overhead. So take this review with a grain of salt. The bar size needed is quite large so not very convenient to use if you want to use smaller bars. You have to mount the monitor right on the end of the bracket (no jumper or anything) so it's quite difficult to hold and fix it. The screws themselves wear and loosen, so don't over-tighten or over-adjust. The brackets aren't strongโ€ฆ

Just as I imagined!

For those trying to pole mount the TV, here it is! I have a Crate and Barrel canopy bed and was wondering how I could mount a TV on it. I used to see TVs mounted on big thick wooden canopy frames like they were wall mounted because the wood is thick but on a pole? I had to see if there was horse riding to make my dreams come true. After calling $350 to make it happen, I fucking said no. I'm looking at Revane. IT WAS IT! And what I liked most about putting it together was that it was so easy. Iโ€ฆ
