I received this machine to replace a Brother PRW that broke after mishandling. I've been using the Janome HD3000 for a number of years, it's a great machine. for heavy sewing, but it's mechanical. There aren't many bells and whistles in the mechanics. I like the ruffles in this thing. I forgot how good the needle up/down, needle threader, speed control and 100 different stitches are. Lots of legs and accessories included (I'm a beginner so it was a bit intimidating). That's a very cool car! I appreciate the possibilities that this has. It comes with a DVD which is very useful for me. And I've watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles about different stitches, hems, seams, etc. It's not difficult at all.
