I bought this lovely blanket to snuggle up next to my boys at home during the hot summer months. This coating is thin, but at the same time it does not shine through and does not make me freeze. Now that I have this case my kids are no longer a problem because I don't run around the house in short tight clothes in the summer anymore lol. I would like the same case in other colors.

Ok after reading the reviews I was very disappointed in this purchase. As others have said, it's an odd fabric, almost like the raincoat you wear when you cut your hair, but much softer and a little wrinkled. If you wanted this as a cape for the beach I think the fabric would be great and quick drying. The embroidery leaves a lot to be desired, looks rather cheap. I just received it and have already worn it twice, once even out of the office. It's a thin polyester kaftan that doesn't show too much of the outside in the light but use sensible underwear choice if you go out during the day lol. The gold finish is a little flashy but not flashy and can easily be swapped out with your own hands for a finish of your choice.
