I've been using these for years and they work well. I buy these instead of bleached paper because chlorine is used in the processing of the white filters. Since it doesn't depend on the color of the filter, but on the environment in which we all live, I buy these filters. Of course, washable cloth filters would be a better alternative.

This is a great four cup filter basket I have. The four-cup filters I've bought in the past didn't fit high enough, and sometimes when I made a full pot the soil crept over the rim, but I haven't had that problem with them.
