I am women size s/m 5ft7 for reference. I ordered 16 year old boys first because I thought they would fit best. The delivery was very fast and it turned out that the 16th was very long for me. So I changed them to size 14 and they fit perfectly! Much cheaper than buying women's sizes which usually cost over $100.

I bought my grandson and husband the same clothes (Carhartt overalls, long sleeve shirt and John Deere hats) because when my grandson is over they like to go out on the street and"to get the job done". While I did it to be nice, my grandson LOVES his coveralls and insists on bringing his "work clothes" to every visit.

Great overall, only complaint is the label on the back is starting to wear and is a little nondescript looks . The strap adjustment works as it should and the straps actually stay the right size (unlike the Osh Kosh that keep slipping and coming loose) and the buckle that attaches the straps to the bib is easy to work with (I have it Bought for a 5 year old). . ). So far there hasn't been any wear from play or washing - pretty much what I've come to expect from Carhartt.

I ordered this size 6 for my son (very tall, 4 years old) who is a size 6 in all other clothes. I would say they are a bit big/long but not enough to reduce the size. I really appreciate the generous size; We can wear this jumpsuit for a few more months. The quality is excellent and they are very cute, the only problem is that the clasps are not the standard clasps I am used to and it is difficult for my son to open them on his own.
