Except for the small wrist area, these are great gloves

Warm and windproof. I haven't exposed them to water yet, so I can't point out this feature. I like her. They're a lot warmer than the Ergodyne ProFlex gloves I recently bought, although the ProFlex gloves allow for slightly better handling. I haven't owned these Carhartt gloves long enough to know how they hold up in use either. I doubt I'll put them through really hard work, so I expect they'll last. And yes. These gloves are difficult to put on. Some reviewers complained that the size is too…

Pros
  • Mitten with barrel closure and drawstring
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Good gloves but bulky for everyday use

Keeps hands warm and dry most of the time, at least on the outside. If your hands sweat during use, they quickly become slightly damp on the inside. They are also quite difficult to dry. I tossed these guys in my dryer for two hours to try to dry the inside and it still hasn't completely dried. A bit bulky for what I use them for as a lifter at a ski resort where I put my gloves on and off over 50 times some days to switch between work and the weather. The best thing I could use these gloves…

The best gloves! fits gloves and mittens

Love these gloves. They keep me warm, keep the wind out, hold up well, definitely not a work glove (too bulky) but perfect for keeping out the chill while driving, walking or outdoors. You don't let water through easily when you soak in water, after all the water finds its way into the shower! but your hand doesn't get wet or cold just because your glove gets wet, and that's amazing. I still have my first pair, 5 years of really tough conditions, heavy use, and they still go, I still use them…

Pros
  • Adjustable closure
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options

Great gloves but not durable.

I work in a warehouse with perishable goods. It's usually 32°C in the building and I often have to handle crates of ice, juice, milk or water. These gloves are warm enough to make my hands sweat and also thick enough that pressing buttons or lifting boxes was a real agony. They proved to be as water resistant as I needed, although it's better not to submerge them in water. My biggest issue with them was durability, they started cracking in various places after 2 days of use. After using them…

  • Reinforced palms with goatskin areas for fingers and thumb

  • I vaguely remember

In my opinion, there are no better thick winter gloves at this price.

At $20-25 these are very good quality and well made gloves compared to other inexpensive winter gloves I have tried. They are thick, warm and waterproof. I have an issue with these gloves, but it's my fault, not Carhartt's, and the wrist is too tight on this model of glove. So if you're working on something detailed on the outside and you take this glove off, this particular glove isn't the easiest to put back on quickly, but then again that's my fault because Carhartt makes a real farm-style…

Pros
  • Heavy duty polytex general purpose shell with leather trim
Cons
  • Questionable buy for seniors

Nice winter cycling glove

I bought these gloves for cycling in cold weather. The bottom line is you can't beat the price for what you get with these gloves compared to others that cost 10x more. The fit is just a little small, but not that bad. I ordered XL as well as the glove but overall I'm not a tall person. Love it: they block the wind and keep your toes warm even when riding on a 30 degree morning. Decent water resistance, but no glove is waterproof except maybe these yellow kitchen gloves. Having enough grip and…
