These tools are great quality for the price. The wire cutters could do a little better but you get it all for the price. No complaints here. You still got the job done.

I took this with me in my truck just in case. Even though I already have loads of tools, I've found myself walking to the truck on a number of occasions because this set has what I was missing! The only addition I made was to throw in a pair of pliers to block the channel under the seat. Blocking channels can really save the day sometimes! This would be a great gift for example from a father to a son or daughter as they build their life.

If you look at this tool set and know the price, it's good value for money. This means that I received more or more than I expected given what I paid. It's not intended for everyday use by a professional, but it's good to have for a small house/garage project. I don't want to rely on this every day but for my adult daughter's new home this is a good set. It has everything she needs for her mechanical projects.

Bought this kit because it's more for "electricians". This is the one that does not include a hammer and provides the necessary test lamps for the AC and DC circuits. It also includes wire cutters (not pictured in the kit as they were used) and a wire stripper/crimping tool/screw cutters, items not found in other kits that I checked before deciding on this one. For the buyer, the best alternative to this "electrically inclined" profile for the price.

Those who write 1 and 2 star reviews are not people who own real tools and more importantly, USE them. I have tools from all the big names and they have inherited a lot from my children's heritage and I use them. If you're considering these particular tools to aid in your automotive career, you're obviously not interested in Snap-On and don't plan to stay in the automotive industry for long.
