Don't do the job!

I have been using Cascade powder in my Bosch DW for years/decades. Due to the pandemic, it is not always possible to buy the same product. So I bought 2 bottles of this liquid "healthier" version as a spare. I only started using it last week and have already done two 225 minute auto cycles. This product doesn't work. For the first time I see that some of the cutlery is still dirty and the porcelain teacups still have a tea stain on the rim and dripping on the sides. And these are just visible…

It smells like perfume.

Cascade discontinued the version of their product that I could use (I'm severely allergic to fragrances). I called Cascade and the rep recommended this product in an "unscented" version, but it was nowhere to be found. I can usually tolerate the citrus/lemon smell but be aware that it has a lingering perfume scent. Even rinsing the dishes (in the car) 5 times didn't remove this smell. All the drawers and cupboards in which I kept glasses, crockery and cutlery smelled of this perfume…

Love it, no more stains, no more rinse aid

I've been using Finish for two decades now (since 1992) because it claims it's 'safe' for the environment. Well, then that was it. so it worked fine. Then they got greedy and started removing different facets of the product so you had to buy it separately like a mouthwash. It became garbage.
