We got it for an upcoming trip to Africa/Madagascar but recently used it across Europe - 4 countries. No problem. It comes with a small carry case so we only took the adapters we needed for the trip. We expect a lot of benefit from them. We would have preferred a set with an adapter on one end and the ability to plug in a US cable on the other so we didn't have to lug around the bulk to fit the adapter. This adapter is very easy to use - covers most of the countries in the world. Two reasons it didn't get a 5 star rating: When it arrived, different types of adapters were mixed up with their sockets.
